Mr Santhanasamy

Mr Santhanasamy Amaladas brings over 35 years of invaluable experience to his role as the incoming Principal of Sekolah Sri UCSI Springhill. Throughout his distinguished career, he has held numerous senior leadership positions, contributing to the development of schools and communities alike. Before joining Sekolah Sri UCSI Springhill, Mr Santhanasamy was the Principal at St. Paul’s Institution (Primary), where he successfully led the school through a period of significant growth and transformation. One of his most notable achievements was guiding the school’s transition to a co-educational institution, expanding access and creating a more inclusive and dynamic learning environment. This change, alongside a steadfast focus on academic excellence and co-curricular development, propelled the school’s reputation as a leader in education. Mr Santhanasamy’s academic credentials include a Bachelor of Education (TESL) and a Diploma in Professional Educational Leadership from the prestigious Aminuddin Baki Institute. His leadership has been recognised through various accolades, including the Award for Excellence in Service from the District Education Office and the Pingat Khidmat Masyarakat (PMC) from the Yang Di-Pertuan Negeri Sembilan. He was also honoured with the Pearson Longman Leadership Scholarship to Lucy Cavendish College, University of Cambridge, and represented Malaysia at the Pearson Longman Asian Leadership Conference in Da Nang, Vietnam.

An advocate for integrating technology into education, Mr Santhanasamy has led initiatives to equip schools with state-of-the-art facilities, such as an AstroTurf hockey field and smartboard-enabled classrooms. His efforts have consistently aimed at preparing students for the modern world, ensuring they are equipped with the skills needed to succeed in an everevolving global landscape. As Principal of Sekolah Sri UCSI Springhill, Mr Santhanasamy is dedicated to cultivating a vibrant, inclusive, and innovative learning environment.
