Siow Geok Chwee
Additional Mathematics, Mathematics and Mandarin Teacher
Siow holds a Bachelor of Science in Education (Honors) from UPM Serdang, majoring in Mathematics and Additional Mathematics. She also earned a PSR (PC) qualification from Maktab Perguruan Ipoh, majoring in Chinese with a minor in Arts. With over 30 years of teaching experience, she has taught in both SJK(C) and SMK schools, specializing in Additional Mathematics for 24 years. Her expertise extends to exam preparation, having served as an SPM Additional Mathematics official marker for 20 years and frequently being invited to conduct answering technique lectures for secondary schools.
Her dedication to education was recognized with the Excellent Teacher Award from the Ministry of Education in 2009. Beyond teaching, she has taken on leadership roles such as Head of the School Mathematics Department, Head of Discipline Department, and library teacher. She also guided students’ talents as a School Choir Instructor and Team Leader for nine years.
