Sri Nor Suhaila holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Islamic Banking from Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) and a
Postgraduate Diploma in Education from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). With six years of teaching
experience across various subjects, including three years specifically teaching Bahasa Melayu at the
secondary level, Suhaila has developed a deep passion for education. Her journey in teaching has allowed
her to connect with students on both an academic and personal level, reinforcing her belief that teaching
extends beyond mere knowledge transfer—it involves shaping students’ character as well. She holds that
attitude is even more crucial than academic achievement.
Suhaila’s extensive teaching experience has further fueled her enthusiasm for educating students and
equipping them with essential knowledge. She not only enjoys teaching but also embraces challenges,
continually seeking new experiences and learning opportunities to enhance her effectiveness. She believes
that every student has a bright future and potential.
In her classroom, Suhaila strives to make the learning process engaging and ensures that students
thoroughly understand the material. Recognizing the significance of Bahasa Melayu, she works to make
her classes enjoyable, integrating the language into students’ daily lives. She places a strong emphasis on
mastering exam techniques, using past questions to familiarize students with real examination formats
and strategies for achieving high scores.
Additionally, Suhaila has been actively involved in community events, such as raising awareness about
cyberbullying at Kolej Vocational in Port Dickson and the University of Kuala Lumpur, where she spoke to
around 800 students.
