Arishna Silvakumar

Arishna Silvakumar serves as the School Counsellor at UCSI KL, where she is committed to supporting the social, emotional, and academic well-being of students. With a Bachelor’s degree in Counselling & Guidance, an LKM license, and 4 years of experience working with adolescents and adults, Arishna brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role. She strives to create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where each student feels valued, heard, and empowered to reach their full potential.

Arishna is passionate about helping students develop strong coping skills, build self-esteem, and navigate the challenges of growing up, both in and outside the school. She offers individual counselling, facilitates small group sessions, and leads programs focused on resilience, mindfulness, and conflict resolution. Her approach is holistic, ensuring that students feel supported in every aspect of their lives.

In addition to her work with students, Arishna collaborates closely with parents, teachers, and staff to foster a positive and supportive school community. She believes that by working together, we can help students become confident, compassionate individuals who are prepared for success both academically and personally.

Arishna is excited to be part of the UCSI KL community and is always available to support students and families in their journey.
